Art Classes with Angela

An on-going series focused on watercolor painting and pen & ink...

Who?  Why not you? All levels welcome in class. No previous experience is needed. I take you from where you are and move you to the next level. Beginning to advanced techniques taught.  There are lots of demonstrations, step-by-step instruction, and useful handouts to support instruction. I bring everything you need including professional grade paper and paints for use in class for a small additional materials fee ($5) because using the right materials is a HUGE difference maker in your results. Students are asked to bring some brushes and pens.

What? The pictures here represent a small sampling of current and/or possible future projects. in addition to these, some students choose to bring their own ideas to work on (always encouraged!) Each project is an opportunity to learn about art elements (such as color and line), techniques (such as color mixing and masking), and design and composition...while creating a beautiful artwork. We'll paint landscapes, still life, wildlife, florals and other botanicals, and more. Each month there is a theme and focus on building skills and techniques. There is usually a carry-over of projects from one session to the next.  Sometimes we have a "catch up sessions" when we complete projects that needed more time. We don't complete our work on a project necessarily in one session. For those who work fast, there is always something more.

Where? Classes are offered in Tualatin and Keizer. See location-specific pages for dates/times and address information.

When? Classes in Tualatin are on Monday/Tuesday with a morning and afternoon option for each day.  Classes in Keizer are on Thursdays in the mornings only.

How? To sign up for Tualatin classes, send your registration via PayPal to angela.wrahtz@comcast.net. (I dropped the "booking app" from this website because most students prefer to go straight to PayPal to submit their registration payments and reserve their spot in class. Less complicated. Super easy.)  Or call for info on how to send a check if you prefer to pre-register that way. Keizer classes are registered through KAA; please see that tab.

Why? Because you'll love it.
